Cefixime Dispersible Tablets

Fixitix-200 contains Cefixime which is a class of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics. Cephalosporins are beta-lactam antimicrobials used in the treatment of different infections caused by both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. These antibiotics are useful against skin infections resistant bacteria and meningitis.

This medicine works by killing bacteria and is effective for treating infections of the lungs, throat, and urinary tract among others. Cefixime Dispersible Tablets are also sometimes used to treat sinus infections in penicillin-allergic patients, pneumonia, shigella, etc.

Uses of Cefixime Dispersible Tablets

This medicine is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria such as-

• Typhoid

• MRSA species of bacteria
