Pantoprazole and Domperidone Tablets

ULCIDOC-D = Domperidone + Pantoprazole

ULCIDOC-D is a combination medication containing two active ingredients: Domperidone and Pantoprazole.

Domperidone

A prokinetic agent that improves the movement of the stomach and intestines, helping food pass through more easily.

Pantoprazole

A proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces the amount of acid produced by the stomach, providing relief from acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

How does Domperidone and Pantoprazole Work?

Domperidone

Blocks the messages between the brain and the vomiting center, preventing nausea and vomiting.

Pantoprazole

Reduces the production of stomach acid by inhibiting the “proton pump” in the stomach lining.

What are the uses of Domperidone and Pantoprazole?

Domperidone + Pantoprazole is used to treat various conditions, including:

• Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
• Heartburn caused by hyperacidity
• Inflammation of the food pipe (esophagitis)
• Peptic ulcers (stomach ulcers)

How to Take Domperidone and Pantoprazole?

• Take ULCIDOC-D as directed by your doctor.
• It is usually taken one hour before a meal, on an empty stomach.
• Swallow the tablets whole with water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablets.
• Continue taking ULCIDOC-D for the prescribed duration, even if you feel better.

Side effects of Domperidone and Pantoprazole

Domperidone + Pantoprazole may cause some side effects, including:

• Headache
• Vomiting
• Diarrhea
• Abdominal pain
• Nausea
• Joint pain
• Flatulence
• Dizziness

Most of these side effects are mild and go away on their own. However, consult your doctor if they persist or worsen.

Warnings and Precautions

Pregnancy and breast-feeding

Alcohol

Avoid alcohol while taking ULCIDOC-D.

Driving

Missed dose

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your next dose as usual. Do not double your dose.
